Privacy Policy
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE — set before launch]
nexTTable is operated by Walking Visuals LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("Walking Visuals," "nexTTable," "we," "us," or "our"). Walking Visuals LLC is the data controller for the information described here. We run nexttableapp.com and the nexTTable marketplace app for trading cards. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.
1. Information we collect
From the website
This website has no sign-up forms, no analytics, and no advertising trackers. Our host (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
From the app
When you use the nexTTable app and create an account (with Sign in with Apple), we collect what's needed to run the marketplace, which may include:
- Account information (such as your sign-in identifier and email).
- Order and transaction history for purchases you make or sales you complete.
- Content you create — listings, photos, want lists, offers, chat messages, and dispute submissions.
- Limited device and usage data to operate the app, keep it secure, and improve it.
Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers. Card and banking details are collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. under Stripe's own privacy policy. Stripe also handles vendor payouts and identity verification (KYC).
AI-assisted features share text with a third-party AI provider. The app includes optional AI helpers — an "AI concierge" that answers your questions and a "Snap to List" helper that drafts a card listing. When you use these features, the text of your request and the relevant card details (for example, the card's title, set, condition, and your typed prompt) are sent to Anthropic, PBC (the maker of Claude) to generate a response, under Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not send your payment details or full account profile to Anthropic, and these features are inactive unless enabled. If AI is turned off, no data is sent to Anthropic and the app uses on-device suggestions instead.
2. How we use your information
- To run your account, process orders, offers, and disputes, and send you service messages about them.
- To review and onboard vendors.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and the marketplace.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not rent or trade your email list.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising.
- We won't email you marketing you didn't ask for.
4. Service providers we rely on
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the site and the marketplace. Each processes your information only to perform services for us and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes:
- Stripe, Inc. — payments, vendor payouts, and identity verification.
- Anthropic, PBC — the AI provider behind the optional AI concierge and "Snap to List" features (see section 1). Only used when those features are enabled.
- Fly.io — application hosting for our backend server.
- Neon — the managed PostgreSQL database that stores your account and marketplace data.
- Shippo — to create shipping labels, which requires the shipping address for an order.
- Cloudflare — hosting for this website.
We may change providers as the product evolves; we'll keep this list current and update the effective date above when we do.
5. Data retention
Marketplace account data is kept for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations.
6. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us.
- Access, correct, or delete. Email us and we'll honor reasonable requests to see, fix, or delete the information we hold about you.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to access, delete, or restrict use of your information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of these, contact us below.
7. Children
nexTTable is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what we collect safe and to collect as little as possible in the first place.
9. Changes to this policy
When our practices change, we'll update this policy and revise the effective date above. If we make a material change, we'll take reasonable steps to let users know.
10. Contact us
